We also had extra company Wednesday night. Steven's sister and brother-in-law needed a place to stay while their floors were being finished. Since their parents were hosting Phil's family, Becky and Dillard stayed with us. They brought their dog, Spainy, and John (our dog) was in HEAVEN! He actually laid at the bedroom door Wednesday night hoping Spainy would come out to play with him. Thursday morning, they were inseperable.

We took our time getting ready Thursday morning and enjoyed the parade. Keagan loved all of the bands and floats! He spent a lot of time singing, dancing, and marching around the living room. He even showed his inner Phil Collins as he sang and played the drums!

This morning, we decided to sleep in and then went shopping with Phil and Linda (so Papaw could have some time with his grandkids all to himself). It was actually pretty relaxing and calm. I think it helped that we didn't go until almost 10 and weren't in desperate need for anything. We took time to go eat out and just enjoy each other's company. Then we came back, ate some more, and went with the whole family to Krispy Kreme before the TN family heads back in the morning.
I hope you were able to really take time this week to focus on how much we have to be thankful for, but remember that it's something we should do EVERY. DAY. Especially as the Christmas season is now upon us. Be careful not to get caught up in the craze of December, and make a point to stop and give thanks for everything God does for us!
