Yesterday was Steven's birthday. He ended up taking off the entire week since it was my Spring Break, so we get to spend the week together relaxing and fixing up our house. On Sunday night, we went to his parents' and had fresh seafood from Captain Greg's in Mechanicsville. Steven has been enjoying eating the leftover steamed blue crabs the past few days for lunch. Here he is with his favorite birthday dinner.
We also have these two adirondak chairs we got last year and have been wanting to paint. We did chairs for Steven's parents a few years ago, and they turned out great. Last year, we were only able to get the bottom coats on. Since it was nice outside yesterday, Steven went out and drew the designs on the chairs, then we painted them together. I did the palm tree!
This one is my favorite. Steven did this one because of all the detail. He's the artist. I just color in what he draws.
Here are the finished products beside our beautiful moon bushes that are growing nicely!
I'm also including the chairs we did for his parents. We'd love to do this for anybody in the area as long as they supplied the chair (or whatever you want painted)!

Those chairs are soo cute! Makes me wanna go to the beach, how fun.
