The Secret's Out!

I said I would share whenever I had the go-ahead, and i got the green light yesterday in the form of our summer newsletter that my school always sends out listing changes for next year.

I'm going to be the Title I Reading Teacher for grades 3-5 at my school!

I've taught there ever since I started (one year in 1st grade and five in 4th), and I just finished my master's which met the qualifications to be a reading specialist. So my principal asked if I was ready to use my degree. I'm a little nervous about leaving the regular education classroom, but it will be an exciting experience!
