First, we moved last Saturday. After living in our townhouse for over 6 years and having two kids, we had accumulated quite a lot! This is a shot of our old guest room which was literally full of boxes from floor to ceiling, but that wasn't all of it! There was almost nowhere to actually "live", and we were all feeling a little cramped when the boxes started piling up.
This is our new house. Steven got this picture quickly because a LOT is going to be changing very soon for the exterior. The house was already move-in ready, and all of our projects are on the outside fortunately. I'll post some interior pictures soon, once we can hang some of our wall art and make it a little prettier.

Our other big life event was poor Caff-man. He developed a hernia over Fourth of July weekend, and we had to move quickly to see a doctor and schedule a surgery to have it removed. He's been in a lot of pain and was naturally very fussy, but he had a successful surgery this past Tuesday and is almost like a different child now! The nurse snapped this picture for me while he was coming out of anesthesia. They all just loved him! We did have to stay overnight because of his age, but it was actually almost like a mini-vacation from moving for me!
Backing up a little, here are some fun things we have done over the past few weeks:
We didn't make it out to see any big fireworks over Fourth of July week (partly because of rain but also with Caffrey), but we did head over to Becky and Dillard's for some small backyard fireworks. Keagan said they were the best ever!
Caffrey was still small enough (barely) to wear this newborn onesie, and I just loved this shot!
I found both boys new fedoras, and Keagan already loves his! He hasn't worn it since the move (actually, I need to find it), but I can't wait until Caffrey grows into his and they can match!
Even before we moved, I enjoyed some morning snuggles with my two boys. They are so sweet!
We did sneak away to the beach one day right before we moved, but we had to leave quickly because it was way too hot for Caffrey. Keagan did get a chance to run around with daddy some, though!
We're pretty much all wiped and in need of a vacation, so we'll be counting down the days until August!
