Apple picking

Okay, I know that I've been neglecting this blog a lot, but color guard is ALMOST over (next Saturday is their final competition!), and then I'll have a little more free time. It's been driving me crazy because I feel like I never see Keagan. And it doesn't help that the beginning of school is go non-stop until Thanksgiving.

Anyway, my mom has been here all week because they actually have a full week for fall break where she works in GA (nice, huh?). Since my dad is on a mission trip in Germany, mom decided to come up for the entire time. My brother even came for the beginning of the week while his college had their fall break.

Today was the ONLY Saturday I've had off since September, so we took mom to Carter Mountain in Charlottesville to go apple picking. It's beautiful out there! We didn't go last year because I was WAY too pregnant to feel like walking all over that mountain, but we missed it so much. This year, we got Keagan a wagon, packed up the car, and went!

I'll just let the pictures tell the rest.

Daddy got his workout pulling the wagon up and down the mountain.
It took Keagan a while to figure out what to do with the apple.
But daddy helped him, and then he was sold!
 Family pic!
 Keagan's a happy boy!
Daddy climbing trees to get the best apples.
Look how many we got! We'll be eating apples forever!
Keagan and Gran with the pumpkins (we didn't buy any here, but aren't they pretty?)

Happy fall! Do you have any fun fall traditions?
